Another shot of a Bradford Pear bloom with the sun setting in the distant background. Enjoy!
I had placed an order a couple of days ago for a set of Macro Extension Tubes for my Nikon D60. They arrived yesterday, and I got a chance to really use them a bit today. I am thrilled with them, and it became clear as I reviewed my shots today, I need to reconsider a bit of my settings for shooting extreme closeup images. I did get a couple of good ones, I think this one is my favorite. This is a bloom from the Bradford Pear in our front yard. It was taken around dusk, and I used the on-board flash to compensate for the failing light. The flash really darkened the sky (it was still a nice shade of blue), but as I looked it, this one really started to grow on me.
After just a brief chance of using them, I do recommend these tubes if you are at all interested in macro photography. You can get them at Amazon for less than $60. I believe they make them for Canon mounts as well. Enjoy!
